Hello there! I’m Lisa Galley, and I hail from the beautiful city of Melbourne, Australia. My love for art has been a constant in my life, dating back to my school days when I eagerly enrolled in numerous art classes. In recent years, I’ve reignited my passion for color pencil drawing and have honed my skills through the guidance of online artists who’ve helped me refine my craft. I’ve always had a deep affection for animals and wildlife, and my true artistic calling lies in recreating realistic depictions of nature.

Giving back is essential to me, and I’ve donated proceeds from one of my pieces to support the remarkable work of Australia Zoo. I’ve also contributed by donating bat-themed cards to Bats QLD, a wonderful nonprofit organization.

Every year, I take joy in donating my art to ‘Leave it for the Pooch,’ a heartwarming initiative dedicated to rescuing dogs. In the spirit of continued support for the welfare of animals, I’m preparing to donate a piece to Gymbuya World for an upcoming silent auction.

Beyond my artistry, I have a fulfilling career as a trainer and assessor in children’s services, where I get to share my knowledge and help individuals learn how to care for children in their crucial first five years. Teaching and assisting others to grow in this field is a passion that complements my artistic endeavors.
